The House
Luxurious – Well maintained – Spacious
Whether winter or summer – the Zeller See glitters enchantingly. The alpine villa 300 m above sea level impresses with its unique location. Here on the sunny slope you can enjoy the sun, the peace and the view of Lake Zell, the surrounding alpine pastures, the Tauern and the Schmittenhöhe all day long. The hiking trails start right outside the front door.
The chalet, built in alpine style, has a spacious living-dining area with a cosy Zirbenstube. The sun-flooded bay window seats 8 people on the traditional corner bench.
The modern kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and invites you to cook for yourself.
The house has 4 spacious bedrooms. The bedrooms are equipped with high quality box spring double beds. Three bedrooms have their own private bathrooms. All bedrooms have their own TV sets and free internet connection.
Two vehicles can park in the spacious garage.
Shoe dryer and ski rack are available.

Zell am See
Winter
The 77 kilometers of slopes on the Schmittenhöhe are distributed evenly between blue, red and black slopes, and there are also five valley runs. Highlights on the Schmitten are the Skimovie run, a Funslope XXL, the Funpark, the Nightslope and several children’s areas.
There are no less than four entry points to the ski area: In addition to the three access points from Zell am See, the zellamseeXpress, a cable car from the Glemmtal up to the Schmittenhöhe, started operating last year. This has also made the connection to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn and to the joint ski pass Ski ALPIN CARD possible. Due to the nearby ski region on the Kitzsteinhorn, Zell am See-Kaprun is particularly snow-safe.
Offers for cross-country skiing, winter hikes and horse-drawn sleigh excursions round off the program.

Summer
The mountains around Zell are mostly easy to hike and and offer magnificent views of the main alpine ridge and the Steinernes Meer.
The Schmittenhöhe is easily accessible by cable car or on foot. From there, you can access numerous loop tours and nearby peaks. Alpine huts and mountain restaurants invite you to stop for a bite to eat.
On the opposite side of the valley, Thummersbach is a suitable starting point for the hike to the Schützingalm and to the Schwalbenwand.
A short car ride will take you to the Glockner- Hochalpenstrasse to visit the Glocknerhaus or to the traditional Trauner Alm, a traditional farmhouse with an excellent cuisine.
An extensive network of paths offers numerous possibilities for cycling excursions on the plain and for mountain biking. It is a pleasure to cycle on well-maintained bike trails to the surrounding alpine pastures.
High quality bikes and e-bikes are available for rent. There are also two 18-hole golf courses, which are part of the 12 “Leading Golf Courses of Austria”, and the lake with all its possibilities.
The golf courses Schmittenhöhe and Kitzsteinhorn are only a short car ride away from Zell.
